South Carolina Hurricane Florence Housing Recovery Program

This program was specifically designed to assist South Carolinian’s who require assistance in the repair, replacement, buyout or reconstruction of their homes damaged by Hurricane Florence in September of 2018. The program has concluded and no new applications will be accepted.

The South Carolina Office of Resilience accepted public comment on the Hurricane Florence Action Plan Amendment 1 until June 22, 2021. The time period for public comments is now closed. Comments could be submitted via email ([email protected]) or in writing (632 Rosewood Drive, Columbia, SC 29201.

Hurricane Florence hit South Carolina on September 14, 2018. The South Carolina Office of Resilience administers the HUD CDBG-DR grant for the following 8 counties: Chesterfield, Darlington, Dillon, Florence, Georgetown, Horry, Marion, Marlboro.
