South Carolina Hurricane Helene Housing Recovery Program

The South Carolina Office of Resilience administers the Hurricane Helene Recovery Program for residents with remaining damage to:• REPAIR, RECONSTRUCT, or REPLACE single-family owner-occupied homes.

  • VOLUNTARY BUYOUT of single-family owner-occupied homes (if located in a floodplain)
  • REPAIR single-family rental units for affordable housing

South Carolina Hurricane Helene Recovery expects to serve approximately 700 homeowners with the priority of assistance focused on the extremely low income, elderly, disabled, and families with children 17 years old or younger in the household.
