October 2015 Storm Recovery Program

This Program is intended to repair or reconstruct
Single-Family Housing and Single-Family Rental units affected by the October 5, 2015 flood and
rain event that still have unserved damage.

The October 2015 Storm Recovery Program office at 318 E Main St., Kingstree, SC 29556 will be closing on February 2nd, 2019. For remaining unserved applicants, our offices at 632 Rosewood Dr., Columbia, SC 29201 and at 2543 E Hwy 76, Suite 110, Marion, SC 29571 will remain open.

This program is specifically designed to assist the extremely low, very low and low income South Carolinian’s who require assistance in the repair, replacement, or reconstruction of their homes damaged by the October 2015 Storm.

The program expects to serve approximately 2200 low income homeowners with the priority of assistance focused on the extremely low income, elderly, disabled, and families with children 5 years old or younger in the household.

This Program provides housing assistance to the citizens of the following 22 counties:
